Fence Soft Wash

1) We Arrive!
First stage of every clean! Our team arrives with a large enclosed trailer, full of high end commercial cleaning equipment. Fun fact, we opted for an enclosed trailer so we can keep absolutely everything we could need for a clean present at all times!
-
2) Site Walk Through
If you’re present for a clean we’ll come, knock on your door, and introduce ourselves. We’ll then ask to do a quick walkthrough, learning about the exact details of your clean, where we need to spend extra time, and important safety measures. Fun fact #2 our shirts are custom made by a local clothing manufacturer who specialize in sports clothing!

3) Protect Landscaping
PVC or wooden fences require a soft wash technique, fences are always placed on a lawn. To protect your lawn from the cleaning process we will lightly mist all grass around the base of your fence. This will safely ensure that your grass isn’t damaged as the cleaning solution falls into it. In areas that have heavy organic build up, and require extra attention we will use a neutralizer to ensure appropriate protection.

4) Soft Wash Fence
After we have prepped we can begin our cleaning process! Both wooden and PVC fences require a soft wash approach. A soft wash approach on a PVC fence involves lightly spraying a mixture of water, sodium hypochlorite, and surfactant onto your fence. For a wooden fence we replace sodium hypochlorite with sodium hydroxide. We’ll cover the entirety of your fence with our solution to ensure an even, and thorough clean. We’ll then allow for a 5-10 minute dwell time before we begin the next phase.
-
5) Rinse Fence
After about 5 to 10 minutes our cleaning solution would have completed its role! All organic stains and any dirt are now ready to be removed. We don’t require any chemical spraying anymore, only water! We’ll rinse your entire fence, removing all dirt and buildup present. Fun fact #3, when we soft wash we will use a maximum of 300 psi, about the same pressure as your garden hose. This prevents damage to the paint and fibers of your fence!

6) All Finished!
We’ll come and knock on your door to let you know we’ve finished up with your clean, and walk through the cleaned areas with you. Our crew are all set up to receive payment from check, cash, Zelle, or card payments. We often get asked which one we prefer, we prefer which ever is easiest for you! If you’re not present we will send through plenty of before and after pictures for you. We will also send an invoice to pay online by card, or Zelle, alternatively mailing a check is an option.
