Roof Soft Wash

1) We Arrive!
First stage of every clean! Our team arrives with a large enclosed trailer, full of high end commercial cleaning equipment. Fun fact, we opted for an enclosed trailer so we can keep absolutely everything we could need for a clean present at all times!
-
2) Site Walk Through
If you’re present for a clean we’ll come, knock on your door, and introduce ourselves. We’ll then ask to do a quick walkthrough, learning about the exact details of your clean, where we need to spend extra time, and important safety measures. Fun fact #2 our shirts are custom made by a local clothing manufacturer who specialize in sports clothing!

3) Protect Landscaping
We understand that well kept landscaping is hard to achieve and the last thing we want to do is ruin that! We spray a neutralizer solution and water over surrounding landscaping to fully protect them from the cleaning solution applied. Particularly important for roof cleans without gutters, as there will be a lot of run off.

4) Begin Soft Wash
Using any form of high pressure on your roof will result in damage. To ensure a safe clean we use a soft wash approach. Soft washing a roof consists of spraying a mixture of water, sodium hypochlorite, and surfactant onto your roof. This is done at 300 psi or less (similar to a garden hose). This approach is completely safe for your roof and is recommended by manufacturers. A soft wash will fully remove all dirt and organic build up present. Most of the spraying can be done from the ground, or a ladder. Occasionally going onto the roof maybe required to complete a thorough clean. When it is, we always do so in two person teams, follow correct safety procedures, and wear appropriate footwear.
-
5) Rinse!
After we’ve let the cleaning solution dwell for a few minutes it is now time to rinse off your roof with only water. This is still performed at a low pressure to ensure safety. Occasionally (if your roof hasn’t been cleaned in decades) a deeper level of clean is needed. We won’t rinse we will leave the cleaning solution to dwell and allow the rain to wash off.
-
6) All Finished!
We’ll come and knock on your door to let you know we’ve finished up with your clean, and walk through the cleaned areas with you. Our crew are all set up to receive payment from check, cash, Zelle, or card payments. We often get asked which one we prefer, we prefer which ever is easiest for you! If you’re not present we will send through plenty of before and after pictures for you. We will also send an invoice to pay online by card, or Zelle, alternatively mailing a check is an option.
